A No-looking back November

Imagine a driver whose gaze is fixed on the rearview mirror, watching other cars and objects behind them. It won’t be long till an accident occurs due to a misplaced focus. Similarly, we look at the metaphorical rearview mirror of life: replaying past events/ incidents. However, persistently focusing on the negatives of the past halts further progression. Don’t look back at the past year because that’s not the direction you are heading in. When life forces you to look backwards, fix your eyes ahead and onto God. He helps you navigate the hurt, disappointments, guilt, fear and whatever haunts you from the past so you can move forward freely. If you have to look back at all, it should be to remember the blessings that point you back to God’s goodness. I declare that you’ll move forward with boldness and courage because you’ve got an expert guide ahead of you.

Have a no-looking-back November!
