Life sometimes feels like a series of unfortunate events. We have experiences that “take away from us” and leave us feeling depleted, disadvantaged or at a loss. I’m reminded of Joseph’s life which was anything but straightforward, however, the meaning of his name was manifested: he was promoted from the pits of life to a palace. Joseph aka Yosef in Hebrew means God will increase or God adds. So despite the losses you have experienced this year or in the past, I pray that God Yosefs in your life, causing your losses to be outnumbered by the wins.

A clear pattern amongst bible characters is that they experienced hardships, difficulties, struggles and obstacles before they eventually reached their desired destination. Likewise, we experience seasons which may break or throw us off our course, however, God uses such seasons to our advantage. God uses our brokenness as a precursor to the filling. Despite how broken or exhausted, you may be feeling make this declaration: My filling season is approaching. God will fill me with the very best He has for my life. God will satisfy my physical, emotional, spiritual hunger & thirst. I will be filled with complete joy, peace & hope! My cup will overflow; I shall lack no good thing.

Have an October that overflows with blessings!

As we enter the last few months of 2019, it is easy to ponder on the mistakes, wrong turns and setbacks of the year. However, Isaiah 43:19; urges us to forget the past defeat and discouragement in order to clearly see the new thing God is doing in our lives. Make this declaration: I declare that God is about to blow my mind and turn my mourning to dancing.

That situation that is beyond your control has to be like that in order for you to know that it is only God that will bring you through. As an artist once sung: “May your struggles keep you near the cross. May your troubles show that you need God. May your battles end the way they should. Let your whole life prove that God is good.”

God is faithful to His word & will surely bring your situation to a glorious expected end. Have an outstanding October x

The presence of God is not the absence of trouble. He is a very present help IN time of trouble. In spite of the raging storm in your life I pray you have the overwhelming assurance that: God is your only shelter. Turn to Him and you’ll see that even though your situation seems out of control, it isn’t out of God’s control. ALL things are working together for your good. Have a lovely October. xx

Don’t miss out on a blessing in October because it’s not packaged in the way you expected it to be. Sometimes your best blessings come out of your worst situations.
