Not only do the skies look bleak during these winter months, it feels as though darkness, despair and doubt cover our minds, hearts and lives at this time. It’s no surprise that we are living in strange & difficult times and it’s easy to question: Where is God? Does He care? Oh Yes, He cares, Yes he sees and No, he has not left. Make this declaration: My gloomy nights will clear up; Joy will come in the morning. God’s light will shine brighter than ever; He will dry my tears from the stressors and worries of this year. In these seasons of drought, I shall be like a tree planted along a riverbed – unbothered by the struggles and trials because I have entrusted my uncertainties and unknown future to a known God who has never lost control.
Have a reNewed November!
A clear pattern amongst bible characters is that they experienced hardships, difficulties, struggles and obstacles before they eventually reached their desired destination. Likewise, we experience seasons which may break or throw us off our course, however, God uses such seasons to our advantage. God uses our brokenness as a precursor to the filling. Despite how broken or exhausted, you may be feeling make this declaration: My filling season is approaching. God will fill me with the very best He has for my life. God will satisfy my physical, emotional, spiritual hunger & thirst. I will be filled with complete joy, peace & hope! My cup will overflow; I shall lack no good thing.
Have an October that overflows with blessings!
Too often we allow many things happening around us to take up our central vision. As a result we are unable to see what’s in front of us such as God’s providence, love and faithfulness. When we place our cares and concerns first we push God to the periphery; thus inviting fear, doubt, despair and anxiety. In this month, Don’t let your problems eclipse God. Let God eclipse your problems.
Have a Centrally-focussed September!
Although we are living in uncertain times there is one thing we can be sure of – God remains faithful. In this month, make God your focal point. If we gaze too much on our current circumstances we become dizzy & feel sick, so divert your attention from the noise of the world (news & the like) and tune into the Living Word of God that states “And it came to Pass”. Our struggles, pain, worries and concerns haven’t come to stay but to build our character. God is not a man that He should lie so saturate your mind with scripture & good report.
Have a Mindful May!
Waiting is a foreign concept in today’s fast-paced society, so when we are forced to “Be Still”, it’s frustrating. You may be waiting for some good news, change in circumstance or status or simply waiting for a day/event whatever it is – the wait is worthwhile! Just like a mother needs to wait 9 months to see her baby you need to wait. When a baby is removed prematurely from the womb there are associated issues; so don’t be in a hurry. Waiting time is not detrimental it is developmental! God is transforming you into the best version of yourself.
Have an Ah-Mazing March.
No matter what stage you’re in right now don’t underestimate its potential by obsessing over where you want to be or what you want to achieve. Don’t be fixated on the seemingly insurmountable mountains ahead that you end up missing the current blessings & lessons from God. Don’t focus on the storm ahead and miss the learning opportunities amongst the waves. 🌊
Have a Fulfilling February!
In this month May you learn how to embrace every season with grace and gratitude. Because in every season there’s a lesson God’s trying to teach and wants you to learn. May God use what appears to be difficulties to launch you forward in life. Have a lovely May! xx
As this year begins to round up may all the difficult roads that you have treaded lead you to beautiful destinations. Yes you may have had challenges this year but we don’t grow when things are easy, we grow when we face challenges. So make this declaration: My current situation is not my final destination.
Have a blessed November! xx
