In the middle of a conversation with my friend about the storm in Jamaica and the havoc it had caused, I was struck by something she said: “Holding on by a thread, but holding on nonetheless.”
Those words were simple yet soaked in faith. They reminded me of the woman who, after twelve years of suffering with persistent bleeding, reached out to touch the hem of Jesus’ garment. Like her and like my friend, we too must cling on. Life throws situations our way that make our grip slip, but I urge you: hang on, even if it’s just by a thread. If that thread is the hem of His garment, there will be a turnaround.
Don’t just hold onto God casually; cling to him with confidence that He will work it out. Whether it’s healing, restoration, or breakthrough, trust that He will do it.
Have a No-Let-Go November!
